Sara MacDonald was born in Appleton, WI. After high school, she had an opportunity to live in the United Kingdom. Upon return to the United States, Sara did not hesitate in her choice to live in her home - Outagamie County.
Sara has three children who mean the world to her. However, her family is impacted a great deal with the long-term disability her daughter has.
Sara graduated from Little Chute High School in 1995. She earned her Bachelor's Degree (Honors) in Social Policy at Anglia Ruskin University while living in England in 2005. She completed her Master's Degree in Social Work from UW-Green Bay in 2011.
Sara works full-time as a social worker in child protection, and enjoys this position immensely while she helps families to stay together.
Sara's high energy and passion show as she works several shifts a month for a local domestic violence shelter.
Sara demonstrates her flexibility as on-call support for a local medical organization, ready to assist families when a trauma comes into the ER.
